Similar to the F-35, Here Are Alleged Details Of China's Shenyang J-35 Fighter
The China's Shenyang J-35 Fighter

International Military - Pictures of the J 35 Shenyang fighter began to spread. The image of the Shenyang J-35 fighter plane then sparked a lot of debate on social media. Some began to detail what was in China's second stealth fighter.

It is known, the scattered images also have a high resolution. This then allows anyone to see what is on the plane. As is known, the J-35 is predicted to operate on China's newest aircraft carrier, the Fujian Type-003.

This high-resolution image shows the third J-35 prototype with tail number 3500003 as well as some other interesting details. The following details are quoted from Naval News

  1. This fighter has an IRST sensor under the nose. It looks similar to the US F-35's Electro-Optical Target System (EOTS) and may have a similar role.
  2. The machine has a sawtooth nozzle. This is to reduce the heat signature and therefore increase the stealth capability in the infrared (IR) spectrum.
  3. The main landing gear is "reinforced" to allow CATOBAR operation.
  4. The radar dome (on the nose) is tilted. This likely indicates the presence of a tilted Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar antenna.
  5. The cockpit shows a good old head-up display (HUD).
  6. The configuration of the canopy and opening is similar to that of the F-35.
  7. The tip of the vertical stabilizer bears the “flying shark” logo, usually seen on J-15 fighters currently deployed on PLAN's carriers Liaoning and Shandong.
  8. Previous images of the unpainted aircraft show a folding wing design feature (to reduce footprint when stored aboard the carrier).

Quoted from the Eurasian Times, the PLA Navy (PLAN) and People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) had previously rejected the FC-31 made by Shenyang Aircraft Corporation (SAC). The project was revived when tensions with the US in the western Pacific escalated under former US President Donald Trump.

So, it can be concluded that the presence of the J-35 fighter jet shows China's seriousness in strengthening its country with many sophisticated military installations.
