UK Still Sending Long Range Missiles to Ukraine

International Military - Britain is sending its first long - range missiles to Ukraine to help counter the Russian invasion . London's move ignores the threat of Russian President Vladimir Putin who will no longer hesitate to attack targets in Ukraine that Moscow troops have been avoiding.

London's delivery of advanced weapons to Kiev was confirmed by Defense Minister Ben Wallace on Monday (6/6/2022). According to him, the weapon sent was the M270 multi-launch rocket system (MLRS).

He did not specify how many such weapons would be sent to Kiev. But according to the BBC there will be three units to be sent.

Britain's decision has been coordinated with the United States, which announced last week that Washington would also supply a similar rocket system.

The US announcement has angered Moscow and on Sunday President Vladimir Putin threatened to expand the list of targets Russia would strike in Ukraine if Western countries sent long-range weapons to Kiev.

"In general, all this fuss about the supply of additional weapons, in my opinion, has only one goal of dragging the armed conflict as long as possible," said Russian President Vladimir Putin.
