The Russian military still has another ultimate weapon to face the ground battle against Western tanks, namely the BMPT Terminator tank support fighting vehicle (TSFV). Russia claims that the Terminator has high effectiveness in special military operations in Ukraine. Although, there have been no reports of this vehicle successfully killing enemy tanks.

The Terminator's strengths lie in its high security and multi-channel weapon system that allows the operator to engage four to five targets simultaneously. The Terminator has a higher aiming speed of the weapon. Therefore, the crew has time to respond to threats, including shots from unexpected angles and even from above.

The Terminator was designed based on combat experience gained during the Soviet-Afghan War and the First Chechen War and was produced by Uralvagonzavod using the T-72 tank platform. To fight and hunt tanks and other enemy armored personnel carriers, the Terminator is armed with lethal weapons in the form of dual 30 mm caliber 2A42 automatic cannons and four Ataka 9M120 anti-tank missile launchers.

In addition to ground vehicles, to deal with battles against tanks, the Russian military also has air fighters such as Su-25 attack jets, Ka-52 and Mi-28NM attack helicopters, as well as proven Zala Lancet kamikaze drones.
