GDLS Will Deliver First 24 MPF Tanks By 2024 To US Army

International Military - Following the announcement of the US Army on June 28, 2022, General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS) has been appointed to provide the first 24 production units of Mobile Protected Firepower (MPF) tanks in the first quarter of 2024.

As is known, the US Army has awarded a contract of 1.14 billion US dollars to GLDS for the production of 96 MPF tanks. According to a report released by the Army News Service, the US Army alone expects to receive a total of about 500 MPF tanks in the future.

The primary role of these MPF tanks is to provide infantry brigade combat teams with greater survivability and the ability to identify threat systems earlier and at longer ranges.
