China's J-15B Fighter Plane Allegedly Becomes a Jet That Will Take Off on Aircraft Carrier Fujian
International Military - J-15 will probably be a fighter jet that will take off from Fujian. As is known, China has launched the Type 003 'Fujian' aircraft carrier some time ago. The aircraft carrier, which is claimed to be the largest, is expected to launch carrier-only fighter jets. At the same time, an old fighter with a new design appeared in China.

Quoted from Bulgarian Military, this is a redesigned J-11 as the J-15. It is this fighter jet that is currently being linked to the fighter aircraft, which will take off from one of the three catapult runways of China's aircraft carrier Fujian. It is possible that the fighter aircraft that has been waiting for decades, such as the J-15B, will become a naval fighter aircraft.

This relates to how much of the capabilities, avionics, and armament of its predecessor J-11 were. The J-15 will also be very different from the usual J-15.

The J-15B should have better air-to-air capabilities than other Chinese fighters, namely the J-16 and even Russia's flagship Su-35. These advantages are expected to be achieved with better composite materials to a lighter and more durable hull.

Not only that, this also includes the use of AESA radar, three-dimensional thrust vectoring engines, low radar coverage or stealth technology, and avionics. The J-15B is likely to receive air support from another fifth-generation naval fighter being developed by China, the FC-31.

The aircraft carrier Fujian will also be able to purchase two types of fighter aircraft, as they are roughly twice the size of its two predecessors, the Liaoning and the Shandong.

Reporting from Military Watch Magazine, the J-15B will probably show that the investment in developing the 'Super Flanker' has hardly been wasted.

This is because the existing design on the J-11 still plays an important role in China's defense is still in use.

With the warship Fujian set to drop fighter wings to nearly twice the size of the carriers Liaoning and Shandong, the J-15B could be produced in sizeable numbers.

However, whether the J-11D will enter production as a non-naval fighter, remains to be seen but seems increasingly unlikely as Chinese fighter aviation moves to focus more on fifth-generation fighters
