Then, it traveled through Turkey and Georgia before they landed at Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku, said Baykar, developer of Akinci and Bayraktar's famous TB2 drone.

Reporting from the Eurasian Times, the two drones covered a distance of about 2,000 kilometers. By going through five hours of traveling three countries, this is the first history of Turkish aviation.

The Bayraktar Akinci drone, for the first time, also successfully hit a maritime target using a laser-guided MK-82 bomb. It even managed to intercept it from an altitude of 20,000 feet as part of tests ahead of its induction launch into the Turkish Navy.

Reporting from baykartech.com, Bayraktar Akinci has a unique fuselage and wing design. In addition, the Bayraktar Akinci platform is a strategic class platform that can carry various payloads.

Bayraktar Akinci is equipped with dual artificial intelligence avionics. It is this system that supports signal processing, sensor fusion, and situational awareness in real time.

The Bayraktar Akinci is also capable of carrying out operations carried out with fighter jets. It carries electronic support systems, dual satellite communication systems, air-to-air radar, collision avoidance radar and synthetic aperture radar.

The Bayraktar Akinci can be used in air-to-ground and air-to-air attack missions as well. With a triple electronic hardware and software system, Bayraktar AKINCI is capable of carrying the following payloads:

  • Mini Smart Munition MAM-L
  • Mini Smart Munition MAM – C
  • Cirit . Missiles
  • L-UMTAS . missile
  • Bozok Mini Smart Munitions
  • MK-81, MK-82, MK-83 (JDAM)\
