'KUB-BLA'  Kamikaze Drone To Be Used on Russian Warships
Moscow - The roaming ammunition “KUB-BLA” is being adapted for use on Russian high-speed transport landing craft and special warships. General Director of Kalashnikov Concern Vladimir Lepin said this in an interview with National Defense magazine.

“This work has been carried out on an initiative basis. Possible maritime applications can be implemented for reconnaissance and attack UAVs. In particular, the technology solution will be offered as an effective tool to monitor and protect national territorial waters,” said Lepin.

'KUB-BLA' Kamikaze Drone

The KUB-BLA small attack unmanned aerial vehicle was first presented at the IDEX 2019 international arms show in Abu Dhabi. This drone belongs to the kamikaze type of drone or commonly called wandering ammunition.

The unmanned aerial vehicle will patrol the air in search of a target and when it finds it attacks it by swooping down. The attack can hit light armored vehicles and other targets.

Drones have passed baptism in the war in Syria. KUB-BLA can fly up to 130 km/h. This drone with a payload capacity of 3 kg can fly for 30 minutes.
