| 2S19M1 Msta-S SPH Orders For Russian Army Expedited Delivery |
Moscow - Through its official website, the Ural Transport Engineering Plant said it had handed over to the Russian military a number of self-propelled howitzers (SPH) 2S19M1 Msta-S (an upgraded variant of the 2S19). The vehicle is powered by a V-12 V-84A multi-fuel diesel engine producing 780 hp. The maximum speed is 60 km / h with a cruising range of up to 500 km. It is estimated that about 800 units of the Msta-S family of field artillery systems are currently in Russian military inventory and service.
