International Military - The Russian military has destroyed 359 Ukrainian air defense missile systems since the start of the war. That includes the S-300 air defense system. The figures were announced by the Russian Defense Ministry on Thursday.

The ministry's spokesman, Igor Konashenkov, said the Ukrainian military had suffered significant losses. According to him, 70 Ukrainian soldiers were killed and more than five armored vehicles were destroyed near Artyomovsk in the Kherson region with more than 130 other soldiers neutralized.

Konashenkov, as quoted by Anadolu Agency, Friday (29/7/2022), said nine bases, six ammunition depots and the S-300 air defense system were destroyed in the last 24 hours.

In addition, three unmanned aerial vehicles or drones belonging to the Ukrainian army have been shot down. Russia has not updated the death toll of Ukrainian soldiers so far.

Here's a breakdown of the losses suffered by the Ukrainian military since the start of the war, according to Konashenkov's announcement:
